I Found Credit Cards With Low Interest And Rewards, You Can Too

I have great credit, so when I started looking into using credit cards with reward programs, I was a bit picky about what I wanted. First of all, I only apply for credit cards with the lowest interest I can get, but I found out that many credit cards with rewards programs tend to have an interest rate that is slightly higher than credit cards without rewards.

With just a little research I found a card with all of the services, options, and terms I was looking for. The card I ended up getting had everything I was looking for, and it had a really low interest rate. Of all of the types of credit cards out there I probably looked at three dozen different credit cards before I found the one I wanted.

Consumers trying to find solutions to their credit needs should remember a few things before applying for just any of the countless types of credit cards. If you keep a monthly balance on your credit cards you should really look for credit cards with the lowest interest rates possible. This is because no matter how much of a balance you carry on your credits cards, you only get to take real advantage of the reward programs if you pay the balance off every month.

I pay the balances of my credit cards off every month, but I have one that I reserve for emergencies that has the lowest interest rate I can qualify for, and I only use it once in a while, when I know that I cannot pay it off for a couple of months.

The most important thing to keep track of in regards to credit cards with reward programs is what terms the rewards have. Some credit cards with reward programs have expiration dates on the rewards themselves. For example, frequent flyer credit cards sometimes have expiration dates on the miles.

The frequent flyer card I ended up getting has an interest rate two percent higher than one without reward programs, which is fine with me, because I will pay off my balance every month. Consumers need to check the terms on their credit cards regarding the grace period; some credit cards will start charging interest as soon as you make a purchase if you already have a balance on the card.

I’m sure if you’re looking for the best reward programs on credit cards you should have an easy time finding one, but make sure you read all of the fine print before you apply.
